The Full Time Security Guard will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers, through face-to-face interaction. The Security Guard will gain hands-on experience to provide security measures, service customers and deliver exceptional levels of customer service in the airport location.

The ideal candidate must have a proven successful background in customer service, teamwork, independent thinking, keen problem solving and attention to detail, as there are many moving pieces involved in this position.   • Ensure the overall safety and security of the employees, vehicles, lot and equipment

  • Keep record and track units exiting at the Atlanta Airport Enterprise Rent-A-Car location

  • Secure company assets by demonstrating attention to detail

  • Verify and communicate recall units leaving the premise

  • Re-verify Van Addendums

  • Responsible for notifying management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance

  • Monitor child seat/safety procedures

  • Uphold Damage Policy

  • Data Entry and other administrative functions as requested

WORKING CONDITIONS/EQUIPMENT USED:

  • Work environment involves moderate exposure to hazards or physical risks, which requires following basic safety requirements, including road rules and facility regulations

  • Work is performed in an outside covered area with exposure to all types of weather and temperatures

  • Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 25 pounds with long periods of standing and walking

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Must have at least 1 year prior face to face customer service experience in the last 5 years

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must be able to work the following schedule: Sunday 2P-11P, Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday 1P-9P, Thursday 2P-11P, Friday 1P-10P, Saturday 9A-7P,

  • Must be willing to accept a shift of 40 hours a week

  • Must be willing to accept a starting salary of $10.00/hour

  • Qualified candidates must also possess:

  • The ability to multi-task in a busy environment

  • Excel and basic computer Knowledge

  • Provide maps, general direction (ambassador to the city)
