We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Manager to join our European IT team located at the European HQ in Egham, Surrey.
As the Senior Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for: leadership over a team of Infrastructure product and project managers, aiding our global team in the development of comprehensive implementation and delivery strategies for Europe, establishing enterprise-wide vision that accounts for unique European needs, and collaborating with global IT and the business to implement solutions for Pan-Europe.
You will have management responsibility for overseeing the implementation of global IT initiatives in Europe, and supporting the lifecycle of those initiatives as the organization evolves. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a dynamic, high performing, transformational leader to contribute to the evolution of this area.
As the European IT transforms over the next few years you will leverage multiple techniques, such as third-party solution services, to collaborate with global IT’s solution and shared services leaders to drive positive change management and achieve results.
A successful candidate will be an integrator of people, processes and technology, a visionary thought leader, a problem solver, a strong communicator, and an effective consultant who possesses solid competencies within IT Infrastructure including specific experiences in direct management of technologies.
This is a senior technical position reporting to Andrew Sinclair-Hall, Director of European Infrastructure, and will be based at our European Headquarters in Egham, Surrey, UK.
Manage European delivery of multiple infrastructure programs.
Assist in the overall vision and strategic plan, standards, organization and support transition.
Has executive-level responsibilities for vendor negotiations and management.
Oversees fiscal management and implementation metrics.
Identify and manage third-party vendor partnerships and actively participate in legal contract review.
Work with IT executive leadership to evaluate, propose and implement European vendor solutions.
Partner with IT leadership team to identify needs and gaps in global solutions to increase quality, reduce cost, and improve time to market.
Oversee the education of the organization on Pan-European solutions.
Develop and manage a team through full employment cycle including performance management, and career development; build an effective leadership bench.
Maintain relationships with global IT teams, consuming and interacting with them to promote understanding of capabilities and corresponding roadmaps.
Ensure adequate documentation of Pan-European solution documentation as pertains to team interactions, feature requests, and service consumption.
Providing project delivery status updates to product stakeholders and leadership.
Committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
Extensive experience in IT management role.
Extensive experience in IT infrastructure; Networking, Servers, Endpoints.
Extensive experience working with leadership within a complex multi-national business environment.
Qualified Candidates must also have the following skills/competencies:
Extensive experience delivering large-scale Infrastructure programs in large, complex IT environments.
Strategic decision-making skills.
Proven success implementing and executing transformational strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Past success in motivating and directing teams, across multiple countries, including remote/virtual teams.
