Enterprise Holdings is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our administrative team at the Irving Group Headquarters. Our Business Management program exposes our employees to a full-cycle accounting experience (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Audit, Tax) to allow them to be future business leaders. When you join our team, you have the opportunity to influence operations much earlier in your career than may be typical in the accounting departments of other companies. It’s common, for instance, to spend time on the phone or in the branches working directly with managers on any number of operational challenges, such as looking for ways to reduce bad debts or providing tools to better address other performance areas.

The Staff Accountant position is responsible for financial statement preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, tax compliance, and audit, among other duties and responsibilities. We offer a comprehensive development program where you will work closely with sales and marketing, human resources, procurement, and more to produce excellence in customer service, growth strategies, operating efficiencies, and profitability.

As your understanding of our business grows and your ability to make solid business decisions develops, you will soon take on a supervisory role within a business management team.   • Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (or graduating in May 2017)

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship from our company for an employmentment - based work permit or other work authorization document now or in the future

  • Must have Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word)

  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years (and if two, one violation and/or at-fault accident MUST be falling off your record within the next 6 months)

  • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DUI/DWI) within the past 5 years.

  • Must currently reside in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex

  • Must have 6 months relevant accounting or finance work experience. Will consider one year leadership experience in lieu of work experience including experience in organizations/clubs or collegiate athletics.

  • Must be flexible to relocate outside local area/state within a 1-3 year period to accept potential promotional opportunities.
