Enterprise Flex-E-Rent is a division of Enterprise Rent a Car that provides a flexible rental solution to long term customers throughout the UK and we are currently looking to recruit both a Mobile and Workshop Engineer Coordinator to join our Head Office team in Shrewsbury.

Enterprise Flex-E-Rent has 20 locations through out the UK, 470 employees and over 25,000 vehicles, its one of the fastest growing divisions in the company.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to identify customer requirements using technical knowledge and to then coordinator our team of 90 engineers ensuring their time is planned efficiently. Ideal candidates for this role will have at-least 5 years experience working in the motor vehicle maintenance industry.

This is a full time office based role and the successful candidate can expect to work 40 hours per week Monday- Friday.

  • Assist fleet engineering team with coordinating a team of 90 engineers across the UK

  • Assist with coordinating technical training for engineers

  • Mobile Technician monitoring including:

  • Van set up

  • Tooling & equipment requirements

  • Staffing and efficiency monitoring

  • Answering Technical queries

  • H&S adviser for technicians

  • Parts supply monitoring and providing feedback

  • Assist with Engineer Apprenticeship scheme development

  • Assist with our in-house IT systems routing development

  • NVQ level 3 in Engineering for motor vehicle maintenance and/or City & Guilds level 2 in motor vehicle Maintenance is preferred but jot essential.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the motor vehicle maintenance industry.

  • You will also have strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
