We are excited to announce an opening for a Customer Assistance Representative for Enterprise at O'Hare Airport. This employee will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers primarily face to face, supporting the branch and rental needs. The primary focus of this position will be assisting our customers both as they exit the O'Hare rental facility and return the vehicle at the end of their rental period.

This part time position is scheduled at 25 hours per week at an hourly rate of $14.00 with the opportunity to earn full time status.

  • Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs as they exit the facility

  • Document vehicles as they exit the facility

  • Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services

  • Provide directions and general assistance

  • Notify management of any known customer problems, vehicle problems and required vehicle maintenance

  • Greet all customers as they arrive and exit the lot

  • Complete return transactions with 100% accuracy

  • Remind customer to check for personal belongings. Identify any items found in the vehicle and turn into lost and found

  • Advise and review rental charges; and provide an accurate receipt to the customer

  • Provide information in a professional and courteous manner regarding transportation to the airport terminal

  • Inquire about service, satisfaction and document dissatisfaction

  • Check vehicle for damage on incoming vehicles and direct customer to counter for completion of damage/loss report

  • Keep lot organized for ease of access and traffic flow

  • Work on behalf of the customer and the company to resolve issues in a fair and equitable manner to ensure continued customer loyalty

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Must have a current valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on record within the past 3 years (DUI/DWI).

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

  • Must have at least 1 year prior customer service experience with basic computer skills

  • Must read, speak, and write English

  • Must be willing to work outside in the elements

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays


  • Must have good customer service skills

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong sense of initiative, requiring little direct supervision

  • Exercise sound judgement to make decisions
