The Customer Assistance Representative (CAR) will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers through phones. The CAR will be responsible for administrative work, answering and making calls, and providing an excellent level of customer service. This position will allow you to gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide assitance with customers during their rental experience.

  • Hourly rate of $12/hour

  • Full Benefits Provided: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K

  • Location- Enterprise Rent A Car, 4950 Greenfield Road, Dearborn, MI

  • Must be avaialbe to work Monday 8A-5P, Tuesday 8A-5P, Wednesday 8A-5P, Thursday 8A-5P, and Friday 8A-5P.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services

  • Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs over the phone

  • Meet customers needs in a timely manner

  • Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions (i.e. research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, process customer billings)

  • Perform miscellaneous and job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must have high school diploma and G.E.D.

  • Must have 6 months of prior customer service experience in a high pace retail environment

  • Must have previous phone handling skills

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
