Enterprise Holdings Payroll Coordinator in London, Ontario

Enterprise Holding’s Canadian Payroll Department has an immediate opening for a Payroll Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will be extremely organized, with strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. This is a full-time position which will report to the Payroll Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organize, plan, process, and balance payrolls using established processes and procedures on a bi-weekly schedule for Salary and Hourly employees, both full and part time. This includes:

Employee Maintenance

  • New Hire Setup

  • Tax Setup

  • Termination processing

  • Record of Employment

  • Direct Deposit Information/changes

  • Load and tie various bonus and deductions provided by operating groups

  • Time-sheet review and follow-up

  • Load/import Hours worked and tie-out

  • Calculate and load statutory holiday pay based on provincial legislation

  • Group Benefits Premium Updates

  • General Ledger entry review

  • Preparation of various reports for Government, management, and outside partners

  • Liaison with other payroll employees in the company to address payroll questions and concerns

  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll and other related items

  • Other projects as assigned or required

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Outlook)

  • Must be over the age of 18

  • Must be authorized to work in Canada (and not require future authorization)

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent customer service skills with a “can-do” attitude

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in order to meet deadlines

  • Flexibility to work extended hours/holidays as necessary

  • Familiarity of ADP Payroll system (pay@work) is an asset

  • General knowledge of Canadian employment standards

  • Professional credentials (CPA Practitioner Certification and/or Accounting diploma) preferred

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a payroll role preferred

  • Knowledge of Federal and Provincial payroll legislations and other legal obligations (payroll related) of an employer preferred.
