In the role of an Associate Security Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing system and application security, and providing security recommendations for optimum protection of computer systems and information resources. In this role, you will develop, test, implement, and maintain security policies and programs, and assist with the identification of security procedures to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll be up to:

  • Assisting with the analysis of system and application security; providing security recommendations for optimum protection of computer systems and information resources

  • Collaborating with management and peers to develop, test, implement, and maintain security policies and programs; assisting with the identification of security procedures to support business objectives and regulatory compliance

  • Researching, evaluating, and interpreting security requirements; participating in implementation of solutions necessary for the protection of all information processed, stored, and transmitted by the IT organization

  • Translating and applying security policies into operational processes; evaluating Working Group plans to ensure consistent application of security standards, policies and procedures across IT departments

  • Serving as a liaison between project teams and Security teams

  • Educating project teams to ensure they understand and adhere to security procedures and compliance requirements

  • Participating in security reviews, evaluations, and risk assessments to identify security risks and exposures

  • Gathering information, and assisting with development and testing of new security processes and procedures

  • Participating in investigations relating to security incidents

  • Assisting with task automation and process improvements, as directed

  • Maintaining established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Knowledge and understanding of information technology

  • Knowledge of security and risk management industry standards

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

  • Capable of working independently, as well as in team/collaborative setting

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to establish, foster and maintain relationships across the organization

  • Must demonstrate strong documentation and communication skills

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple, complex assignments and tasks for self

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of SoGP, NIST, ISO standards

  • Knowledge of European laws and regulations (GDPR)

  • Security related certifications such as: CISA, CISM

  • Experience in Information Technology (IT), information security, IT compliance or IT audit

  • Experience in performing compliance and risk security assessments in IT

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or extensive security related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
