About the Role

The Enterprise Holdings Parent Accounting Department has an opportunity for a Supervisor. Parent Accounting is responsible for supporting over 50 business units which equates to over 200 departments in multiple countries. Our team members develop broad knowledge and skills and have earned promotions to various corporate departments. Every day brings new challenges and excitement.

The Accounting Supervisor will provide accounting support for Corporate Departments, Real Estate Entity, and other departments. This position will review and approve expenses, adjustments and various accounting transactions. In addition, this position will review financial statements, schedules and reports.

This role is located at the Enterprise Holdings Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO. This position is currently working on a hybrid work schedule of 2 days work in office, and 3 days work from home. This position may require additional days in the office for special projects or deadlines.

  • Provide accounting and annual forecast guidance to Corporate departments

  • Supervise the daily tasks of direct reports and evaluate performance

  • Review and approve travel & expense reports

  • Review and approve journal entries, expense accruals and allocations

  • Hire, train, develop and motivate staff

  • Supervise cash management duties

  • Identify cost savings opportunities and process efficiencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; OR

  • Master's Degree in Accounting; or

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business with a Concentration in Accounting

  • Must have three (3) or more years of accounting experience

  • Must have two (2) or more years of supervisory experience

  • Must have Intermediate knowledge or greater using Microsoft Excel

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future


  • Real estate accounting experience preferred

  • CPA is a plus

  • PeopleSoft experience is a plus
