As a Data Center Administrator Senior, you will be responsible for supporting multiple data centers for Enterprise Holdings. In this position you will analyze data, research, and implement solutions that provide enhanced management of the Data Center infrastructure. You will be responsible for tracking, documenting, and publishing usage and availability data of infrastructure. You will also maintain and build relationships with Facilities Management, suppliers, and contractors, and coordinate the installation of changes. In this role, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote/ smart hand service to support all EHI solution owners.

  • Extend circuits from provider demarcation points including analog POTS, T1, Ethernet, and Fiber.

  • Manage installation and maintain structured cabling system.

  • Maintain accurate records within DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) software.

  • Rack & stack of all IT hardware including but not limited to switches, routers, console servers and PDUs.

  • Manage installation of AC & DC power circuits.

  • Partner with facilities in the event of an outage to our systems.

  • Program iLOs (Integrated Lights Out) for hand-off of servers to solution owners.

  • Maintain a clean data center environment.

Work Environment :

  • Work will be performed in a normal office setting, as well as in a data center environment with exposure to conditions such as, but not limited to: varying temperatures of 50 to 120 degrees, loud noises, high voltage, and high amperage. You may be required to work outside and climb ladders up to 12 feet in height. You will need to lift and install devices that weigh 75 lbs. or more. At times, you may be required to work a non-standard work week of a minimum of 40 hours and may need to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, on occasion. This position will be based primarily at our Weldon Spring campus near St. Louis, MO, and requires the ability to travel between our US-based campuses as needed and will possibly include international travel.

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • 5 or more years of related experience in a data center environment

  • Knowledge of telecommunications and networking technologies, systems, and circuits

  • Understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities

  • Valid driver's license with no alcohol or drug related event within the last 5 years and no more than 3 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years

  • Knowledge of Hazardous Materials handling, OSHA regulations, and commitment to safety

  • Ability to obtain passport required

  • Ability to lift and install devices that weigh 75 lbs.

  • Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50 degrees to 120 degrees Fahrenheit

  • Ability and willingness to work flexible schedule including 2 nd and 3 rd shift on occasion


  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio

  • Experience terminating and testing CAT 5/6 and fiber optic cable using JDSU and Fluke

  • OSHA 10 training
