We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Information Security. In this role you will provide leadership in the area of Identity and Access Management. Additionally, you will help safeguard our brand by promoting, implementing and supporting the company’s new strategic vision for managing systems access and threats. Through collaboration with other IT and Security teams you will ensure our security posture is strong, proactive and ready to meet today’s challenges.

Your leadership responsibilities will include resource planning and development of your teams from career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews. Responsibilities for this team also includes design and support of security-specific strategies, operations and processes. You will also define quality standards for services; ensuring adherence; and incentivizing continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following:

  • Deep knowledge of IAM applications, relevant technology and industry best practices, including understanding of enterprise level authentication, authorization and governance strategies and protocols

  • Designing, building and operating an IAM Program for large and geographically dispersed organizations

  • Driving the maturity and/or transformation of IAM with new/existing solutions that meet business and security objectives

  • Experience in IAM Program projects, releases and deliverables that contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company

  • Ensuring solutions developed across organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits)

  • Deep understanding of IAM constructs including MFA, SSO, IDM, PAM and others across data centers, private cloud and public cloud environments

  • Analyze, influence, and translate security requirements into concepts and strategies that align with our overall technology vision

  • Providing thought leadership and strategic direction that enhances and supports business processes

  • Conducting analysis to determine best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, and/or user training

  • Providing leadership in establishing and implementing standards, guidelines and best practices for the development, deployment and support of IAM solutions

  • Establishing cross-functional relationships which allow for cohesive strategy development and alignment with other information security and IT initiatives

  • Building strong relationships across our Global IT teams to ensure consistency, transparency, and best practices

  • High level of analytical and problem solving abilities

  • Strong organizational, oral communication and project management skills

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Knowledge and personal practices in staying current with security trends, specifically related to Identity and Access Management

  • Leading high-quality execution of transformational process improvement initiatives

  • Establishing KPIs, identify opportunities and improve processes

  • Building and developing teams which are integrated and high performing

  • Effective management of key vendor relationships

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must reside onsite at one of our three St. Louis based campuses, with the ability to travel between our local campuses as needed

  • 9 or more years of experience in Information Security or related experience

  • 5 or more years of experience as a strategic leader of Identity and Access Management (IAM)

  • Expertise of Identity and Access Management industry tools, best practices and emerging technology

  • Experience successfully leading teams through transformation

  • Experience leading and managing resource planning to support business objectives

  • Prior success developing high performing teams through executing responsibilities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews.

  • Proven success championing the strategic direction of an organization including the ability to articulate a clear, concise strategic vision and direction of the company; high degree of executive presence

  • Ability to influence and collaborate throughout all levels of the organization

  • Ability to foster and maintain outstanding executive relationships across various constituents to promote understanding and produce results

  • Proven ability to establish global strategic objectives (short and long-term) and drive implementation of tactical plans and objectives

  • Demonstrated success in achieving desired outcomes of global, complex projects

  • Ability to attract and develop employees capable of achieving the goals and objectives of the company; past success identifying and targeting talent for new opportunities for further individual and organizational development

  • Ability to successfully lead, define, and manage service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, collaborate effectively, communicate directly and achieve results

  • Demonstrated experience planning and implementing a strategic vision, including anticipating and navigating road blocks to achieve success

  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage operations while driving and implementing strategic change

  • Superb relationship management skills, specifically related leading change with the ability to create a non-adversarial atmosphere and be viewed as a partner

  • Commitment to protecting our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identifies opportunities for improvements and implements strategies to advance our security posture


  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)® or similar Identity Management Institute certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
