The Information Technology (IT) division is looking for an IT Department Manager to lead our Network Operations' teams . As connectivity expands and network traffic increases, so does the need for a sound network practice rooted in security and ready to enable innovation & automation. EHI’s Network Operations is as important to our ability to deliver for our customers and our business as any team within IT. This is a great opportunity to be a leader within this critical department and help our organization continue to grow and lead in our industry.
As the Department Manager for Network Operations you will be responsible for the operations of our Global Core and Data Center Network. The Global Core Network consists of a backbone of network connectivity used for routing communications from endpoints to SaaS, IoT, Internet, and Data Centers. The Data Center Network consists of all networking, firewalls, and routing of traffic within three EHI owned and six leased data center facilities. You will also be responsible for the management of the physical data center space, power, physical access, and assisting IT teams with installation, decommissioning, and management of their systems within EHI’s data centers.
The successful candidate will be capable of fostering a collaborative team environment to deliver on team and organizational goals.

8 or more years of IT experience
6 or more years of experience leading IT teams
Experience leading multiple teams simultaneously to successfully deliver on their strategic goals
Proven experience optimizing teams to create efficiencies and resiliency
Proven success developing teams, individual contributors, and future leaders
Prior experience and knowledge of network technologies that support LAN/WAN, cloud, and broadband (VPN, DHCP, DNS, VLANS, as well as others not listed)
Prior experience and knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP/ RMON, and RDP
Must have understanding of factors affecting network optimization and performance; network capacity analysis and trends; network security mechanisms such as VPN, IPSEC and SSL
Proven commitment to continuous improvement, while upholding availability and resilience of network services
Ability to balance risk with business priorities and apply the appropriate sense of urgency to issues
Commitment to cost controls and effective measures to manage budgets and reduce expenses
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Ability to establish effective working relationships within all levels of the organization
Experience managing 3 rd party and vendor relationships & negotiations
Commitment to protecting our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identifies opportunities for improving security and proactively implements strategies to improve our security posture
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
Experience leading networking teams in global organization with 1,000+ locations is preferred
Expertise in automating complete platform stack using Software Defined Data Center and Networking is preferred
Experience with the following Network Technologies is preferred:
Cisco Nexus and ACI Routing and Switching
Application Delivery using F5 Systems
Palo Alto Firewalls and associated Panorama and Firemon Management Systems
