Responsibilities

We have a rewarding opportunity for a Solution Architect in the Sales and Marketing Solutions area, specifically supporting our MS Dynamics 365 CRM application. This highly strategic position will be involved in and champion CRM initiatives across all the various Enterprise Mobility sales channels. You’ll collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and development teams on highly complex requirements analysis, architecture, system design, systems integrations, and implementations.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a thought leader and partner with business leadership, product teams, and other technologists across the organization. You will need to foster relationships with product management, engineers, architects, business contacts, and vendors to ensure we are developing cohesive and comprehensive global solutions that not only meet the needs of the business but seek to leverage industry standard CRM best practices.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Thoroughly assess and comprehend the existing MS Dynamics 365 implementation and EM's architectural standards to ensure that all recommended solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives and compliance.

  • Partner with Product Management to understand the different CRM business needs and establish a standard set of Dynamics 365 CRM processes across various business lines, focusing on unifying and optimizing operational efficiencies through standard CRM capabilities.

  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to align CRM standardization initiatives with business needs, securing buy-in and facilitating smooth transitions.

  • Provide strategic direction on how standard CRM functionality delivered by MS Dynamics 365 can be leveraged by our product teams and business partners, then guiding the technical teams on how to successfully implement.

  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and vendors to seek out innovation and provide new system capabilities, all while maintaining architectural integrity.

  • Design and implement robust architectural blueprints that support enterprise-level integrations with business solutions, ensuring uniformity in business processes.

  • Provide strategic consulting and technical leadership in projects to streamline and standardize CRM functionalities, enhancing overall business productivity.

  • Develop and execute a long-term CRM strategic roadmap that aligns with organizational goals, ensuring clear prioritization, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain accurate CRM architectural and data models that adhere to the standard guidance provided by the Office of Architecture.

  • Monitor and optimize Dynamics 365 CRM performance, data trends, and cloud storage capacity, seeking opportunities to enhance capabilities while providing cost savings to business leadership.

  • Provide functional guidance to CRM users through documentation, training sessions, and the resolution of system issues.

  • Provide technical guidance through mentoring and coaching, including hands-on peer code reviews with system engineers.

  • Stay current on the latest Dynamics 365 CRM trends and industry best practices, using this knowledge to propose strategic next steps with product teams, business leadership, and IT management.

  • Conduct regular CRM audits and assessments, ensuring data integrity and security compliance based on ISO policy regulations and standards.

  • Assess CRM system workflow and automation needs, providing direction on how these features can be utilized to provide operational efficiency.

  • Actively participate in CRM planning and strategy sessions, recommending options and approaches to business, product, and IT leadership.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

  • Must have 5 or more years of experience with CRM systems, including at least 3 years with Dynamics 365.

  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, with comprehensive knowledge of its capabilities and modular architecture suitable for various business units.

  • Expertise in configuring, customizing, and deploying Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Experience in integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 with other business systems using APIs and connectors.

  • Strong understanding of CRM architecture and principles, including data management and security.

  • Familiarity with CRM industry best practices and ability to stay up-to-speed on the latest Microsoft releases.

  • Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategic plans clearly and persuasively to various levels of management, ensuring clarity and alignment across the organization.

  • Possess strong presentation skills, capable of conducting detailed technical discussions as well as high-level strategic conversations, effectively bridging the gap between technical teams and business leadership.

  • Strong background in business process analysis and engineering, with proven ability to map, review, and standardize complex processes.

  • Experienced in change management, capable of managing the human side of CRM implementations, considering the design effects on training, user support, and communication strategies.

  • Excellent project management skills, proficient in Agile or Lean methodologies to effectively manage the transition from customized to standardized processes.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate, persuade, and maintain collaborative relationships across departments.

  • Advanced technical integration skills, including expertise in API management and data synchronization across multiple platforms.

  • Solid understanding of data governance and compliance requirements relevant to CRM operations, ensuring all processes meet industry-specific regulations.

  • Innovative problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing creative solutions to complex organizational challenges.

  • Demonstrable experience in similar roles where standardizing processes across multiple business units was successfully achieved.

  • Proven ability to operate in a highly autonomous fashion, repeatedly exercises exceptional, independent judgment, balances strategic against tactical planning.

  • Experience with Azure cloud platform and knowledge of how to optimize the environment for cost savings.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach IT development and QA members on areas of growth and areas of improvement.

Preferred :

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Relevant Dynamics 365 certifications (such as MB-300, MB-500)
