Enterprise Holdings Risk Management Customer Service Internship - Summer in St. Louis, Missouri


Are you a college student looking for a rewarding internship that could lead to full-time employment after graduation? Enterprise Fleet Management, an affiliate company of Enterprise Holdings, has an exciting opportunity in our Risk Management Department at our Olivette campus.

Our ideal candidate is a professional, self-motivated team player, who enjoys customer service in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn more about the many avenues of Risk Management. This exciting opportunity works Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) from May-August 2023.

The office hours are 7am to 7pm and the internship work schedule would be set during these hours. The compensation for this position is $14.00/hr. Upon graduation, Enterprise Fleet Management has tremendous opportunities in Risk Management and at our operational center.

This position will work in our office located at 9315 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132


  • Process incoming and outgoing documents for department, vendors and customers

  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, and management

  • Handle multiple phone calls routing to the right individual or team

  • Organize claim and compliance documents for completion and appropriate filing

  • Coordinate, complete and monitor claim and repair follow-ups

  • Administer glass repair or replacement orders for all leased or program vehicles

  • Authorize and monitor replacement rentals for customers

  • Greet incoming customers and vendors and participate as needed in set meetings

  • Report loss notices timely to the correct insurance or third party administrators

  • Manage daily sorting and distribution of mail including overnight mail completion

  • Monitor and troubleshoot as needed other assigned administrative tasks

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • 3 months of administrative experience

  • 6 months of customer service experience

  • Currently a Sophomore or above, enrolled full-time in college or university for the Spring 2023 semester

  • Available Monday through Friday 40 hours per week May - August 2023

  • Ability to work a flex schedule consisting of in office and at home as needed

  • Ability to accept $14.00 per hour

  • Proficient with standard PC technologies and software including Microsoft Office

Work from Home Requirements:

  • Must have a permanent residence in state of Missouri or Illinois

  • Must live within 1 hour of our office located at 9315 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132

  • Have permanent residence with defined working space (home office, spare bedroom, etc.) that is clean, ventilated and quiet

  • Working space with working smoke detector, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit

Work from Home Technical Requirements:

  • Computer running a mainstream supported version of Windows or MacOS (currently Windows 7+ or MacOS 12+)

  • Minimum of 4GB RAM (the cloud based system will use a minimum of 1G RAM)

  • Must have high-speed Internet connection provided by a cable or fiber provider (no DSL or satellite) with a minimum validated upload and download speed of 3Mb or greater (please validate using a speed test tool such as http://www.speedtest.net/ )

  • Working web camera

  • Workstations should connect directly to the ISP router using an Ethernet cable (wireless connections are allowed but be aware of signal strength and interference)

  • Apple or Android smartphone is needed to download the Authenticator app (must be running a current mainstream supported operating system and Internet browser version)

  • Internet browsers: Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari

  • Anti-virus software must be installed and kept running at all times (included w/ Windows 10)

  • Operating system patches must be installed and kept up to date
