Enterprise Holdings Risk Management Internship - Year Round in St. Louis, Missouri


Are you a college student looking for a rewarding internship that could lead to full-time employment after graduation? Enterprise Fleet Management, an affiliate company of Enterprise Holdings, has an exciting opportunity in our Risk Management Department at our Olivette campus.

Our ideal candidate is a professional, self-motivated team player, who enjoys customer service in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to learn more about the many avenues of Risk Management.

This exciting opportunity works Monday-Friday 20 hours per week during the school semesters with consideration for more hours over the summer months. This position offers a flex schedule with partial work from home. Our office is located at 9315 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132.

The office hours are 7am to 7pm and the internship work schedule would be set during these hours with flexibility to work around your class schedule. The compensation for this position is $12.00/hr.   • Review Fleet Groups’ lease contract insurance compliance and manage annual policy renewals

  • Process incoming calls and initiate outgoing calls with agencies, companies, group personnel and vendors

  • Contact insurance brokers and carriers to obtain certificate of insurance and validate systems with received documents

  • Work directly with groups and customers to resolve all outstanding risk issues

  • Evaluate and investigate legal representation letters

  • Administer and review first report of loss through communication with fleet driver, fleet contact, group and department personnel

  • Negotiate and validate approved glass transactions as needed

  • Set up claims for fleet risk customers including tows and rental requests as needed

  • Perform miscellaneous job duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

  • Currently enrolled in college level courses, preferably at the Junior or Senior Level

  • Available to work varying shifts Monday-Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m, with the option to work Saturdays

  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience

  • Familiarity of insurance, claims, underwriting and insurance terminology, preferred

  • Fluency in Spanish or French a plus, but not required

  • Immediate experience in Microsoft Office applications: Excel and Word

  • Must be able to work in the St. Louis, MO area
