The Mobility IT (Information Technology) team at Enterprise Holdings Inc. specializes in a subset of EHI product portfolio including Commute with Enterprise, Enterprise Carshare and Enterprise Truck rental. These are successful and expanding business lines that not only serve to diversify the product portfolio but also help to understand the emerging Personal and Commercial Mobility sectors. As EHI continues to evaluate and understand how to best serve these growing markets, significant investment has been made to solidify the technology that supports these products.

The Truck Business Analyst Senior is responsible for developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting, and maintaining business and functional requirements specifically focusing on the Truck rental business line. This position evaluates business requests to determine feasibility, researches and identifies options, and recommends solutions that best serve business needs. The Business Analyst Senior also presents information and tracks and responds to questions related to business standards. In addition, this position participates in acceptance testing, identifies potential problems, and researches opportunities to minimize complexity. The Business Analyst Senior serves as the primary interface between the user and the IT team. This position provides instruction and guidance to less senior team members on new tasks and assignments.

Unique to the Truck business, this role will collaborate with a broad array of different EHI development teams which results in the opportunity to learn and understand the breath of the technology built, managed, and maintained by Enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an evolving strategy to support the rapidly growing Truck business line.


  • Focus on operational and tactical activities.

  • Assist with project planning, coordinates activities of project phases.

  • Works on small to large, complex assignments. Prepares and delivers informal and formal presentations to own team, department, and other IT teams.

  • Escalates complex issues; resolves moderately complex issues; recommends potential solutions to issues; follows established escalation procedures.

  • Represents team in meetings outside of department.

  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.

  • May informally coach and mentor less senior team members individually.

  • Essential Functions:

  • Develops, interprets, reviews, confirms, documents, and keeps business and functional requirements. Coordinate and facilitate meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy.

  • Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; research and identify options; recommends solutions that best serve business needs

  • Supplies information about how requirements may affect functional design documents. Serves as the primary interface between the user and the IT team; presents formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management.

  • Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.

  • May lead acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.

  • Presents information about enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.

  • Participates in change management activities, including Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation..

  • Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures; continuously identifies and recommends opportunities for improving security.

  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities.

  • 3+ years of experience with developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting functional business requirements, technical requirements, and specifications, and use cases

  • 3+ years of business analysis experience in an application development setting with exposure to various methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate effectively across various audiences including IT teams, business teams and vendors.

  • Display leadership and team centric skills

  • Display strong problem solving and IT technical skills

  • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships across IT and business partners

  • Secure in independent judgment and autonomous decision making

  • Experience serving as the primary interface between the user and an IT team

  • Experience preparing and delivering informal and formal presentations to own team, department, other IT teams, senior leadership, and business partners

  • Excellent understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Ability to judge between what is requested and what is feasible given the parameters of the technology and the project timeline


  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, or related field

  • Experience in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Confluence

  • Experience with APIs and API specification writing is preferred

  • Experience with Agile, user story methodology, Test Driven Development

  • Experience with databases, SQL authorship and data analysis
