Enterprise Fleet Management Information Technology (EFMIT) provides streamlined and effective solutions to serve our growing operation. The Fleet Management systems, including EDGE, Fleet Commissions, Fleet Web, Fleet Planning Toolkit, and AutoTools, are web-based applications built using J2EE technology and are integrated with our financials system as well as our data warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the execution of operational, tactical, and strategic activities on a day-to-day basis, including technical support for individual tasks.

  • Defines the roadmap, goals, objectives, processes, and resources to support the overall strategic vision of area

  • Determines time and resources needed to complete assignments and leading team members in prioritizing and completing assigned tasks and projects

  • People management activities including career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and performance and salary reviews

  • Develops and retains strong performers and prepares for future responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, and implements policies, standards, and procedures that support team activities associated with specific area of expertise or responsibility; leads individuals in adhering to and supporting team procedures

  • Defines and manages service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards; identifies opportunities for improvement; ensures requirements are met; may also lead others through this process

  • Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions; ensures security policy and procedure requirements are met; continuously identifies opportunities for improving security and implements strategies to improve our security posture

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must currently reside in the St. Louis metropolitan area

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

  • Three to five years’ experience managing a professional staff in application development, service fulfillment or a support organization

  • Must demonstrate experience in problem solving, including analyzing symptoms and causes, identifying, and defining the problem to be solved, collecting data, establishing the facts, drawing valid conclusions, and developing solutions

  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good listening skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of or coursework in accounting

  • Knowledge of project management software (Microsoft project, Hive, Atlassian, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years’ experience managing projects in a large-scale computing and/or networking environment
