Enterprise Holdings Senior Staff Accountant - Marketing in St. Louis, Missouri
Overview
The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for leading the monthly financial close process ensuring all appropriate journal entries are recorded and financial statements are accurate for Marketing. This position will analyze spend, recommend opportunities to be more efficient and will lead select areas of the annual forecast and projected future spend processes. Additionally, this position will work closely with other members of the Business Management team as well as Marketing Officers, Directors, and Managers to ensure financial best practices and contractual obligations are maintained.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, with a hybrid schedule available.

Responsibilities
Lead monthly financial close process ensuring accurate financial statements
Analyze monthly activity to record appropriate journal entries
Train junior team members on select financial schedules and invoice processing protocols
Analyze Marketing spend and recommend opportunities to be more cost effective
Lead select areas of the annual forecast and projection adjustments process
Develop ad hoc reports to analyze expenses
Identify and implement process and accounting schedule improvements
Help develop and implement strong financial internal controls by balancing the costs and benefits of such controls
Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Two (2+) years of related experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred:
- Accounting certification-CPA or CMA
