The Supply Chain Management Director oversees negotiations as well as contract and supplier management for all material indirect spend categories for corporate departments in a decentralized environment. This position is responsible for ensuring all procurement programs align with business objectives and deliver performance results while supporting the founding values of the organization.

  • Develop strategic direction for supply chain management impacting corporate departments and influencing field operations; Challenge established policies and procedures with new processes, ideas and technology to improve stakeholder experience, control risk, create competitive advantage and drive profitability

  • Present strategic direction, analysis and solutions for effective implementation of supply chain management discipline across corporate departments

  • Develop team of supply chain management professionals and others in similar capacities to focus on stakeholder support, supplier negotiations as well as contract and vendor management; review current competencies and training standards as it relates to the department all with the aim to become an indispensable business partner on innovations and profitability initiatives

  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure procurement programs are aligned with business priorities

  • Drive the implementation of an effective governance process to manage the onboarding, life cycle and termination management of suppliers

  • Lead the negotiation and drafting of large and complex supplier contracts; oversee management of suppliers

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management Required

  • Other Advanced degree/certification (MBA, CPSM, CPA, C.P.M., etc.) Business, Purchasing or Supply Chain Management, Preferred

  • Current Supply Chain leader for a large organization with a minimum of 15 years progressive Supply Chain Management experience, Required

  • Five or more years of experience managing a team, Required

  • Three or more years of experience leading negotiations for large, complex supplier contracts ($5M +), Required

  • Ability to lead in a complex decentralized environment, working to resolve issues and generate results across potentially conflicting stakeholder needs

  • High level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, executive presence that thrives in a fast-paced, energetic and proactive environment

  • Strong aptitude for technology including advanced skills in MS Office applications
